HBS Medical distributes cWorld radiation protection aprons, shields and accessories and Phillips radiation protective glasses in Europe. All of the CWORLD radiation protection products are available in two different materials. Tru-Lite is a lead-free protective material with lower weight. Tru-Comfi contains lead; these aprons and shields are still lighter than most similar lead products. Our online webshop serves business-to-business customers only: hospitals, clinics, medical institutions and distributors, too.
cWorld’s radiation protection aprons are the best choice for hospital and clinical environment. Each of them has lead-free version, too: we recommend Tru-Lite aprons for those who have to wear them for an extended period of time, such as for the staff of an operation theatre. Tru-Lite aprons provide the same level of protection as leaded clothing, but their weight is significantly lower than that of lead aprons.

The core material comes in 3 different protection levels – 0.25mmPb, 0.35mmPb and .5mmPb –, we can provide the aprons in 7 colours and 6 different sizes, from XS to XXL. The size of the models can be adjusted with the Velcros and straps; it is quick to put them on or take them off. Some aprons may be taken off even if a sterile apron is worn above them.
All models are also available in customized size, and/or with logos embroidered on them, too.
